We’ve been seeing teasers for almost a year, but now final images of the 5 winning designs from last years Nike On Air workshops have been released.
The workshops were run across 6 cities globally, given young creatives the chance to design a shoe inspired by their cities.
Next, a winning design was chosen from each city and the winners worked with Nike designers and production team to bring their designs to life.
Take a scroll through the images (they’re in the same order as the info below, and pick your favourite !) ….
London – Designed by Jasmine Lasode inspired by Summertime spent on the cities Primrose Hill
New York – Designed by Gabrielle Serrano, celebrating NY’s diverse residents
Shanghai – Designed by Cash Ru inspired by the changing clouds floating above the city
Paris – Designed by Lou Matheron, based on the different materials Lou saw being used to construct a new building in the city
Seoul – Designed by Gwang Shin inspired by the cities Neon signs
Tokyo – Designed by Yuta Takuman inspired by Tokyo’s underground train system
The 6 winnings designs are expected to drop after Air Max day this year so keep your eyes peeled from early April, let’s hope all 6 are available globally as my favourite by far is the Toyko design!
